A. B. Cox, 81, of Arkadelphia died Monday, May 21, 2007 at Arkadelphia. He was born May 7, 1926 in Pike County, Arkansas, the son of A.J. and Ada Golden Cox. He was a Baptist, and was a retired heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Cox; four sons, James and Terry Cox, and Deryl Godwin, all of Arkadelphia, and Gary Godwin of Little Rock; four daughters, Avis Wilson of Arkadelphia, Marie Cox of Pike City, Deborah Hightower of Delight, and Patsy Hill of Prescott; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel, Arkadelphia with Rev. Danny Eckert officiating.
Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery, with Pallbearers being Adam Godwin, Zachary Godwin, Eric Godwin, Kevin Godwin, Adam Hill, and Jerry Hightower.
