Wanda Meadors Toye, age 75, of Glenwood, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014. She was born on December 11, 1938, at Doniphan, Missouri, the daughter of John Martin Meadors and Pearl Tillman Meadors. On April 19, 1955, she was married to Dale Toye, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Larry Meadors. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed growing flowers, gardening, baking and going shopping with her sister, Louise. Her greatest love in life was her Lord Jesus, her family and her loving dog and companion "Scooter". She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Ann Toye of Glenwood; her daughter, Sherry Fiedler of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Casey Fiedler, Shawna Toye, Levi Toye and Ryan Fiedler; one great-grandson, Landon Wornick; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles "Buck" and Mary Meadors and Donald and Chris Meadors, all of Doniphan, Missouri; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Jetty and Lawrence Mathis of Doniphan, Missouri, Wilma and Bill Ward of Conway, Missouri, Freda Coon, Linda and Leon Hinkle, Janet and Chris Shearn, all of Doniphan, Missouri, Louise and Larry Bruton of Norman and Faye Royer of Doniphan, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2014, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood with Bro. J. B. Evans, Bro. Scott Vaughn and Bro. Warren Foxworthy officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Joe Moreland, Vanny Edwards, Jack Martin, Hardy Reynolds, Greg Evans and Hayden Runyan. Honorary pallbearer will be Jeff Evans. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
