W. David Watson

W. David Watson, 67, of Sherwood passed from this life on September 10, 2021, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was born October 3, 1953, in Seaside, California to William M. and Marie D, (Dorsey) Watson. David was a member of First United Methodist church in North Little Rock. His hobbies included fishing, deer hunting, and going to the beach. He was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks fan. His father, William M. Watson and son, Zachary D. Watson preceded him in death.

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of forty years, Terri (Rouse) Watson; daughter, Whitney Watson of Sherwood; mother, Marie Watson of Little Rock; and sister, Nancy (Bill) Izard of Little Rock. Other survivors include nieces, Emily (John) Dambaugh, Hannah (Luke) Lanier; nephews, Nathaniel Izard, and Ian Izard; along with a host of extended family and friends. David was employed by McKinney Automotive for many years, until his retirement.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Watson Cemetery, 7862 Calhoun 81, Hampton, Arkansas 71744.

Graveside services will be 3:00pm, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Watson Cemetery in Tinsman, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday, September 17, 2021, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.
