Virginia Huffman

Virginia Lee Penney Huffman of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born February 1, 1925 to Hallie Canteberry Penney and Oather Lewis Penney in Levy, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 61 years, Melvin L. “Red” Huffman and siblings, James Arthur Mildred, Oather, twins, RC and JC, Jeannette and Vivian.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Marilyn and son-in-law, Larry Killett, her son, Jerry Lee and six grandchildren, Lee Killett Rayner, Lisa Huffman Taylor, David Lee Huffman, Nathan Huffman, Rachel Norton and Ethan Killett as well as her adored seven great-grandchildren, Sam, Kaden, Grace, Jacob, Braden, Sophie and Stella. Left to share memories of Aunt Virginia are many nieces and nephews, an extended family member, Brenda Hight, a loving cousin, Christine Bobbitt Fortson and host of life-long friends.

A visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, January 21, 2021, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery .
