Teresa Grindley

Teresa Kay (Haney) Grindley age 63 left this life peacefully at home on June 5th, 2021 in Sherwood, Arkansas. Teresa was born on December 4th, 1957 in Cabool, Missouri she was the oldest of six children. She attended school in Higginsville, Missouri and graduated with a nursing degree from North Little Rock College. She worked at the family business as a corporate officer until her retirement. She was passionate about animals and flowers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She traveled extensively, seeing the world and meeting new people. Teresa was married to David Wayne Grindley on July 8th, 1973 in Higginsville, Missouri. David preceded her in death in 2010. Her parents Cletus and Norma Haney also preceded her in death.

She is survived by Lonie Horton and Lisa Hodge of the home; her son, James Michael Grindley and wife Rachael; grandchildren, Jaiden, Kane, Sawyer, Raygan, and Lydia of Cabot, Arkansas. Earl Horton, children, Zane, Emily, and Zoey of Pleasant Plains, Arkansas. Heather Ocasio and husband Matt, children, Dylon, Merry, Destiny, Alex, and Alyssa of Sherwood, Arkansas. Siblings, Virgil and Renee Haney of Yucca Valley, California, Karen Wilson of Lexington, Missouri, Robert Haney of Odessa, Missouri, Debbie and Tom Roberson of West Plains, Missouri, and Brenda Thaller of Odessa, Missouri. Many, many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday June 12th from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107 Sherwood, Arkansas 72120) Internment will be at Arkansas Stater Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
