Shawn Gill

Shawn Cherie Gill, of Little Rock entered into eternity with Jesus on December 18, 2021. She was born February 8, 1965 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Melvin and LaNelda Dorough. She was a graduate of North Little Rock High School and a member of Crossroads New Baptist Church. Cherie loved her church and her family. She spent her days taking care of her husband, children and animals. She was a devoted Christian who was always willing to share her faith in Jesus Christ with those around her. Cherie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Dora Lee Harrison, mother, LaNelda A. Scott, stepfather, John L. Scott, sister, Debi D. Gill and previous husband, John Greg Gill.

Survivors include her husband of five years, Gary Gill; daughter, Aubrey Lawrence and husband Conner of Little Rock; father, Duke Dorough of Oklahoma and brother, Ricky Don Dorough of Oklahoma. Other survivors include niece and nephews, Blaise Gill of Little Rock, Kaylee Gill of Conway, Kyle Gill of Little Rock and Del Ray Robinson of North Little Rock, along with a host of extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 3:00pm, Sunday, January 2, 20212 at Crossroads New Church, 18900 Congo Ferndale Rd #5508, Little Rock, AR 72210.
