Robert Larch

Robert Wayne Larch of Little Rock left this life on February 8, 2020.  Robert was born March 31, 1938 to the late Edgar (Bill) H. and Thelma (Thompson) Larch in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He grew up in Little Rock and worked as a diesel mechanic for Holt Truck and Trailer over twenty-three years, and Larry Moyer Trucking. Robert was of the Baptist faith, an outdoorsman at heart, who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed playing his guitar.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends at Lake Nimrod.

He leaves to cherish his memory,  children:  David Larch (Debra), Reba Thomas (Michael), Debby Taylor, Robert Larch, Jr. (Susan), Vicky Knapp (John); son-in-law, Chris Taylor; his loving sweetheart, Brenda Childers and her family; grandchildren: Jonathan (Kirsten) Larch, Jeffery Larch, Shelby (Chase) Nowlin, Holly Taylor, Landon Thomas, John (Lovelyn) Knapp, Daniel (Caliah) Knapp, Philip Knapp, Christina Knapp, Adam Larch, Joseph Larch, Debbi Larch-Phelan; grand-daughter-in-law, Angela Larch; five great-grandchildren: Kylan Taylor, Melayah Knapp, Dean Knapp, Piper Phelan and Logan Phelan; sister, Sarah (Mike) Edmondson, brother, Bill (Dorothy) Larch; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 52 years, Peggy Geheb Larch and his brother, James (Peck) Larch.  He was known as PawPaw to his grandkids.  He was a loving and caring man and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be at 9:00 AM, on Saturday, February 15, 2020, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street.  Robert will be inurned with his wife, Peggy, in a private service at a later date at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
