Robert "Bob" Brockway, Jr., 81, of Ward, Arkansas was born January 27, 1936 in Syracuse, New York to Robert and Isobel (Duguid) Brockway. He passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Bob was very patriotic, and served his country as a career United States Marine. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a dairy farmer, Jersey cows being his passion. A Christian example, Bob was stern, but fair and loving. He was immensely proud of his family and was always there for them. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Alice; children Fran Brockway of San Antonio, Texas, Hank Brockway of Little Rock, Lee (Steve) McCloud of Benton, Donald (Karen) Brockway of Cabot; James (Karen) Brockway of Beebe, Beverly Hensley of Bentonville, Randy Mahoney of Cabot, Ritchie Mahoney of Jacksonville, and Byron Mahoney of Ward; grandchildren Robert, Kristie, Clint, Jordan, Kelsie, Alyssa, Bobbi, Samantha, Trever, Brandon, Farrah, Brandy and Ragan; great-grandchildren Bentley, Knox and Lincoln; sisters Bonnie Armstrong and Barbara Ruth; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Henry Henderson, and sister Deborah Dunn "DeeDee" Stewart.

Memorials may be made to American Jersey Cattle Association, 6486 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, for scholarships and research.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017, followed by funeral service at 5:00 p.m. at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
