Randall Prickett
Randall Wayne Prickett, 65, of Little Rock, passed away August 12, 2015 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born in Little Rock to Horace Yates Prickett, Sr. and Louise Freda Maertens Prickett, he was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Prickett; daughter, Sarah Prickett (Cindy) and son, Matthew Prickett, both of Little Rock; brother, Horace Yates Prickett, Jr. (Phylis) of Benton; and nephew, Rusty Prickett (Lee Anne) and their three children,Yates, Milli Louise and Sarah Beth.
Randall graduated from Hendrix College, served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve and had a long career in data processing, beginning as a systems programmer. He was an executive for Systematics, Inc. (later, Alltel Information Systems). For the past ten years, he worked for Datapath Software Solutions.
Visitation will be this evening, Friday, beginning at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 at Morris Hall at St. John Center, 2500 N. Tyler St., Little Rock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Erik Pohlmeier at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 15 at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church, followed by inurnment in Holy Souls' Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Hospice, #14 Parkstone Circle, No. Little Rock, AR 72116 or to Easter Seals of Arkansas, 3920 Woodland Heights Rd., Little Rock, AR 72212.
