Polly Ann Powell passed away peacefully on October 12, 2015 at Woodland Hills Nursing and Rehab in Jacksonville. She was born January 4, 1930 in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Ms. Powell was a retired factory worker, who loved life and lived it to the fullest; she will be remembered for being a hard worker, who always made many sacrifices for her kids. Polly loved playing bingo, working puzzle books, reading, singing and listening to gospel music.
She is preceded in death by her parents John H. and Millie Bascue, her husband M.D. Powell, an infant daughter Regina Gail Powell, a granddaughter Jessi Cloud, and her brother Clarence Bascue and a sister Mary Bascue.
Survivors include her children Marti Wisotsky (Steve), Mary Mattingly (Don), Sharon Price (Ricky), Patricia Harrison, Susan Cloud, Michael Powell and Daniel Powell; one brother Buddy Bascue (Joy); eleven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel at 7700 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120, with burial following at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
