Paula Knight

Paula Marie Magness Knight, was born to the late Pastor Paul D. and Lovada Magness of Texarkana, Arkansas on July 7, 1953 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She attended elementary, middle and junior high schools in Duncan, OK and Antioch, CA and graduated high school at Pine Bluff High, Pine Bluff, AR. Paula was married to her husband, Glen Knight of Gould, AR on June 21, 1973. God blessed their union with two children, Jonathan Matthew and Jenny Marie.

Together, the family served in gospel ministry at various churches in Arkansas and Texas for 19 years until August of 1994 at which time the family moved to the southern Philippine island of Mindanao to begin a career of missionary service. This work, under the endorsement of County Avenue Baptist Church, Texarkana, AR in its early years, and then under that of Victory Baptist Church, Sherwood, AR since 1998, has continued now into its 21st year.

In March of 2000, God blessed the Knight family with a third child, Juliana Michelle Magness-Knight.

Paula passed away in the Philippines on April 11, 2014. She was interred at Orchard Road Memorial Park, Davao City, Philippines on April 15, 2014.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Glen Knight, her children, Jonathan Matthew(Judy), Hughes Springs, TX, Jenny Marie (Mark) Clements, Garland, TX and Juliana Michelle, Davao City, Philippines; six grandchildren, her mom, Lovada Magness, Texarkana, AR and two brothers, Ron Magness and Kale Magness, both also of Texarkana, AR.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on April 26, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church, located at 515 Sherwood Ave., Sherwood Arkansas.
