Mildred Watson

Mildred May Watson of Cabot, Arkansas passed away on June 18, 2020. She was born on February 28, 1928 to James T. and Willie Belle Dotson in Murfreesboro, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walker M. Watson; great-granddaughter, Hannah Grace Crumby; and three brothers, Oras, Coy, and Jimmy Dotson.

She is survived by her son, James W. Watson (DeeDee), of Cabot; daughter, Kathleen M. Crumby (Al), of Springdale; grandsons, Michael (Jennifer)Watson, of Maumelle, Matt (Kelly) Watson of Cabot, Jon (Candice) Watson of Cabot, James (Kimberly) Crumby of Springdale and Chad (Bettina) Crumby of Cave Springs;  one sister, Catherine Norwood of Texas; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Mildred retired from North Little Rock Public Schools Administration Building. She was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church for sixty-four years, where she served as the Secretary of the Adult Sunday School and enjoyed playing softball for the church’s women’s team. She was also a member of the Pulaski County Singing Club for forty-eight years.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
