Michael "Nick" Roberts

Michael Ray Roberts, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021. He was born September 26, 1958, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to the late Greta Sue and Conard Eugene Roberts. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Roberts, a son Nicholas Roberts (Mary Kathryn), a daughter Cynthia Rorie (Robby), 3 grandchildren, Ryder, Ellis, and Everleigh, a brother, Bob Roberts, a nephew Charlie, a brother Randy Clarkson (Zanya), nephews Derek (Mary-Kate) and Sean (Madison), a brother-in-law Billy Caldwell (Maria), 3 nephews and nieces, Connor (Gabby), Colin, and Olivia, a mother-in-law, Peggy Douthit.

He attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and was an active member of his fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and met the love of his life and future wife of 38 years, Cindy Roberts. He is an avid Razorback fan who loved to tailgate and cheer for his Hogs as a member of the Road Hog Family! He loved his job and time spent outdoors! He was an incredibly supportive and loving husband, an amazing and involved father, and the best grandfather (Papi). He always put family first and lived life to the fullest with his larger-than-life stories and personality (He was kind of a BIG DEAL). He was beyond proud of the family and life he built and enjoyed nothing more than coaching t-ball for his grandkids, dancing with his beautiful wife, hunting and fishing, playing golf, and travelling with family. His memories will be forever cherished, and he will be missed daily by the family and friends he left behind.

In honor of his charitable heart and in lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to the American Cancer Institute or St. Jude’s Children Hospital in memory of Nick Roberts.
