Michael Moore, Jr.

Michael O. Moore Jr., 51, of North Little Rock, passed away December 7, 2019.  Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Robert Shugart and Mr. & Mrs. William H. Moore.

He was a 1986 graduate of Northeast High School, and later attended UofA and UALR where he received his degree in Health Sciences.  While obtaining his degree he began working for his father at One Moore Ford, and continued in the finance industry.

Michael never met a stranger and was not afraid to give you a hug and tell you he loved you.  He was deeply loved by all his family and friends.  Michael was a loving, giving, person with a huge heart.  He was very protective of his family and friends.

He enjoyed all sports especially hunting, fishing, golf, and football.  Michael was an avid Razorback and NASCAR fan.  He was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his parents Mike and Sue Shugart Moore; two sisters, Amanda Moore and Jennifer Moore; nephew Craig Bredlow; three nieces, Elizabeth (Marcus) Dowell, Kennedy Johnson, and Presley Douglas; great niece Hadley Grace Dowell; Uncle Ronnie and Aunt Anne Shugart Ponder, Uncle Bill and Sandy Moore; many cousins, family and friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 12, 2019 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, North Little Rock. A private inurnment will be in St. Luke’s Columbarium at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
