Megan Nelson

Megan Nicole Nelson was born October 26, 1993, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was the eldest daughter of Myron Nelson and Amy Beard.

Megan departed this life on Thursday, September 30, 2021, in a tragic car accident. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Kenneth Beard and Simon (Sonny Boy) Nelson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Kylie Roberts, Trenton Robinson, and Blakelynn Robinson; her parents, Amy Beard and Myron Nelson both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Samantha and Sydney Nelson both of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandmothers, Delores Nelson and Phyllis Beard both of Little Rock, Arkansas; the father of her younger two children, Tony Robinson of Little Rock, Arkansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Megan provided trucking services for various trucking companies for 5+ years and was co-owner of Southern Pride Horse Training. Megan loved to barrel race and train horses, she loved to fish and go mudding, she loved to ride ATVs and the muddier she got, the happier she was! She loved loud pipes on big, lifted trucks with mud tires, she could tell who was coming up the road before you could see them by the sound of their tires on the pavement and the sound of their exhaust system.

Megan was sharp-as a tack. Even as a small child, she knew things most little toddlers did not know.  She loved driving dump trucks and running excavating equipment. She loved going kayaking and hanging out with her Daddy and cousins and friends, she loved reading her Jesus Calling devotional book her granny Phyllis bought her every day. She was a unique individual that marched to the beat of a different drum. She was not easily influenced, she did what she wanted to do.
