A woman of immense faith, Martha loved Jesus. Her love for Him shined through her very being. Martha lived her faith, and one felt closer to God for knowing her. Her kindness and graciousness made you want to be a better person.
Martha was a devoted wife to Ronald Morris for over twenty years, relocating often due to his Army career and subsequent government service. Wherever she was, Martha worked hard to make a home for her husband and children. After her husband’s untimely death, Martha returned to her beloved Little Rock, Arkansas area and began a new chapter. Martha worked as a sales associate at Walmart in Sherwood and Jacksonville for many years.
Her greatest earthly joy were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was their strongest supporter, their biggest fan. Martha was the rock on which her family leaned, and she quietly guided them with wisdom, love, and grace.
She will be deeply missed.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13
