Margaret Ruth Wooley, 84, of Alexander, Arkansas went to be with the Lord November 28, 2018. She was born June 19, 1934 in Spencerville, Oklahoma to the late Jacob Marion and Mary Lenora (Wallingsford) Lindly.
Margaret loved the Lord more than anything. She was a member of First Pentecostals of Benton. Margaret enjoyed reading and crocheting. She had a beautiful angelic singing voice and would sing her children and grandchildren to sleep by singing "Night Watch." Margaret loved planting flowers-red, long-stem roses were her favorite. Family agrees that there "never was a more virtuous woman."
Preceding Margaret in death are her husband, Woodrow Oliver Wooley; parents; Jacob Marion and Mary Lenora Lindly; brother, Leonard Lindly; and sister, Earnestine Lindly.
She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters: Tamra Huff and husband Charles of Alexander, Arkansas, Peggy McGhee and husband Ray of Glenwood, Arkansas, and Mary Ellis of Mabelvale, Arkansas; son, Steve Wooley and wife Norma of North Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren: Bud McDonald and wife Tammy of Sheridan, Arkansas, Todd McDonald of Conway, Arkansas, Hannah Huff of Alexander, Arkansas, Patrick Jones of Ward, Arkansas, Janelle Solis and husband Miguel of Little Rock, Arkansas, John Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Robin Little of Glen Rose, Arkansas, Jennifer Jones of Bryant, Arkansas, Emilee Grayce of Glenwood, Arkansas, Anthony Mathis and wife Domonique of Mabelvale, Arkansas, Misty Mathis of Bryant, Arkansas; twenty-nine (and counting!) great-grandchildren; life long best friend, Ruthie Ellis; and a host of family and friends who love Margaret and will miss her always.
Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Burrell Crabtree and Rev. Howard Winkler, will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 4, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
