Linda Reed

Linda Carol Reed, 73, of Benton, Arkansas passed away December 6, 2020.  She was born January 21, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Marvin Leroy and Ernestine (Rouse) Parker.

Linda received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  She worked for Central Arkansas Water Works.  Linda was of the Baptist faith.  Family was more important to her than anything.  She enjoyed cooking, dancing, playing the piano and shopping.

Preceding Linda in death are her special friend, Buddy Roberts; parents; and brother, Noel Parker.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Daniel Wayne Reed of Benton, Arkansas; three grandchildren:  Shayna Keesee and husband Chris, Madison and fiancé James Hollaway, and Bryce Reed; five great grandchildren:  Kinley, Karson, Kamden, Karoline, and Kohen; daughter-in-law, Laranda Reed; niece and nephews:  Tamra, Shawn, and Jeremy; and many family members and friends who love Linda and will miss her always.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:15 AM, Saturday, December 12, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.  Funeral service will follow at 10:15 AM.  Burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
