Kathy Duncan

Kathy Ann Duncan, 57, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, was born January 10, 1958 at North Little Rock, Arkansas, and she died March 25, 2015. As a paraeducator, Ms. Kathy touched the lives of many children, who all adored her. She worked for Career Kids, Koehler Bakery and Pulaski County Special School District, and was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Kathy was a supporter of the Jacksonville Youth Baseball Program. She was a loving mother and wife, and would help anyone, expecting nothing in return.
She is survived by her loving husband of thirty-eight years, James Alvin Duncan of Jacksonville; son Eric Kyle Duncan (Teresa) of Cabot; two granddaughters, Haven Paige Duncan and Adrianna Dawn Duncan; mother, Pat Rhoads of Little Rock; brothers, Jerry Sherman and Ronnie Sherman; sister, Rhonda Rhoads; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Kathy was preceded in death by her stepfather "Daddy", James Rhoads; and her father, Jerry Pat Sherman.
O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. - Isaiah 25:1.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Foundation, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Smith - Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Austin.
