Judy Wheeler

Our beloved Judy passed into eternity on August 10, 2021.  She was born on October 23, 1948, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Claude and Mallie (Vernon) Wheeler.

Our Judy loved life and deeply loved her family, friends, and dogs.  She was a devoted Elvis fan, loved to sing and dance, and was an avid collector of movies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mallie; nephew, Jamie Price; and friend Dennis Kelly.

She leaves to cherish her memory sisters:  Becky Price of Bryant, Arkansas and Anna Smith (Rob) of Auburndale, Florida; niece, Vickie Price; great-niece, Ava Price; great-nephew, Ian Price; best friend, Frankie Reed; caregivers:  Teresa Hunter (grandma), Tina Johnson, Janice, Laura, and all the caregivers and staff at the group home; and her fur-babies:  Daphne, Darbie, and Draco (Dog boy).

She is also survived by nephews Adam Price (Tiara), Gary Price (Maranda), and Michael Price; great-nephews:  Liam Newell-Price, Nicholas Frey-Price, and Gabriel Hawkins; great-nieces:  Teagan Howell, Xoe Hawkins, and Jade Hawkins.

Family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Civitan caregivers and staff for the loving care shown to their sister, Judy over the last thirty-five years.

We love you Judy and we will miss you forever.  May your sweet memory be eternal.

Visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 PM, Sunday, August 15, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street in Benton, Arkansas.  Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Ronnie White, will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 16, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
