Jordan Merrick

Jordan Esther Merrick was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 26, 1999, and she died January 28, 2016. She was raised on the family farm north of Cabot, Arkansas. From the earliest memories, Jordan was blessed with the voice of an angel. She was a beautiful and talented young lady who was full of love, spirit, courage, and determination. She was a sophomore at Cabot High School, a star member of the CHS Forensic team, and the National Honor Society. Jordan won countless awards for her singing and acting. She won Ozark Idol in 2013. Jordan's performances include Little Mermaid (2014), Smoke on the Mountain (2015), and she was selected for the female lead in the 2016 production of Guys and Dolls. Jordan attended Fellowship Bible Church and was awarded the Ruth Award for service and compassion at her church camp. Jordan enjoyed spending weekends with her family hiking trails along the Buffalo River where she was also baptized. Jordan was a bright star in all the lives she touched. She is loved and will be remembered by all. Peace can be found in knowing she is with our Heavenly Father.
