Jimmy Dorrell

Jimmy Don Dorrell, Jr., 54, of North Little Rock passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019. He was born June 27, 1964 in Clarksdale, Mississippi to Jimmy and Cathy Dorrell.

He was a salesman for Farmer Brothers Coffee, loved the outdoors and photography and was an avid Steelers fan. Jimmy was a Baptist, never met a stranger and had a contagious laugh.

He is survived by his children, Ashley (Aaron) Beard and Jacob (Ashley) Dorrell; wife, Melanie Dorrell and her daughters, Amber Askins (John), Ashley (Daniel) Burge; grandchildren, Aiden Beard, Braxton Dorrell, Anderson Beard, Tyler and Luke Askins and Gavin Burge; sisters, Gay Reynolds, Becky Saltz, Sharon “Sissy” Hunt (Seamus); his brother, Jeff (Dana) Dorrell; and several extended family members and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Mark Saltz.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2019 at North Little Rock F.O.P. Lodge, 3201 River Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
