Jerrell Boyd

Jerrell Boyd, 74, of Garner, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018. He was born to Alton "Jack" and Lucy Boyd, of Beebe, on June 9, 1944.

Jerrell served in the United States Army and National Guard for over 15 years. He retired from Eaton as a machinist in 2006. Jerrell enjoyed deer hunting, and showing slow gaited horses. He and his prized horses Misty and Cisco won many awards together. Jerrell also enjoyed his wind therapy, riding his motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen Boyd; daughters Virginia Korovken, and Dessie Uvarov; grandchildren Erinn, Tanner, Jared, Brandon; great-grandchildren, Isis, Griffin, Archer, Glenn; siblings Evelyn English (Pat), Gladys Dean Herekamp (Roger), Alton Boyd ( Martha), Jimmy Boyd (Cleta Diann), Eva Wortham (Shannon), Mamie Long; many nieces and nephews, and his beloved fur babies Noel, Gracie, and Harley.

Jerrell is preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayborn Boyd, and great grandchild, Effie Sawrie.
