Jason Cain

Luke Cain 38 of Maumelle, Arkansas, died from injuries sustained in a car accident September 26, 2019.

Luke is survived by his mother Cindy Roberson; Grandparents, Cecil and Peggy Whittington; Uncles, Rob and Shane Whittington; cousins Brooks Whittington, Blair Ginn and her husband, Russell and their children, Hunter, Hallie, and Hampton; Fiancé Rachel Houston and her daughter, Sahar.

Luke grew up and attended school in Lake Village, Arkansas. During his childhood years, he spent most of his time with grandparents at their family business, Whittington's Texaco. The truckers that would pass through would call him "Lukie", and that is how he got his nickname.

At the young age of 11, Luke was already very inquisitive about how things worked. His mother recalls a story about how he took her hair dryer apart to see how the motor worked.

He was an entrepreneur from an early age. He would gather plums and sell them to the local banks. Luke also bought an old vending machine and stocked it with snacks to make extra money that way. Before he was old enough to get his drivers license, Luke had saved enough money to buy his first truck.

The family called him a "pack rat" because he never threw anything away. Luke had an affinity for finer things and has always had a passion for collecting things. These things could range from baseball cards, cooking ware, and his favorite electronics, especially Apple products.

Luke had a heart of gold and showed it in his generosity toward others. He loved buying meaningful and insightful gifts for his friends and family.

During his first year of college, Luke started buying and selling stocks. He was overjoyed with the profits he made. Luke attended University of Arkansas at Monticello and then later graduated from South East Arkansas School of Technology.

In 2001, Luke relocated to Central Arkansas where he continued his education in Computer Technology. He worked several IT jobs including contract work, Geek Squad at Best Buy, and AT&T.  Luke finally planted his roots at ABC Financial where he had worked for the past seven years.

Luke had a special place in his heart for his family especially his mother and grandparents. Luke was also so excited his grandparents had moved to Sherwood so he could drop by each day to ensure they had everything they needed.

This past year has been one of the best of his life. He had met Rachel, the love of his life and her precious daughter, Sahar. He loved Rachel and Sahar with all his heart and loved the family they had created. He was so excited to spend the rest of his life with both of them.

Jason Luke was loved so much by his family, his work family and his friends. There are no words that can describe the hole in everyone's heart that loved him.
