Janette McNair

The Family of Janette McNair thanks you for honoring her memory.

She first graced this world with her presence on April 10, 1942; born in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her parents, George and Jean Kyzer, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband Louis, with whom she put up with for over 60 years. Janette worked and reluctantly retired from Sears to spend more time with Louis. She was a lifelong member of Scott Pentecostal church, attending faithfully, even when battling and defeating cancer. A better, faithful, God loving saint could not be found.

Janette liked solving crossword puzzles, watching Judge Judy and The Hallmark Network. She also loved working in her flower bed and taking the occasional fishing trip. She loved her family, regularly attending sporting events, dance, gymnastics, and birthday parties of her 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Janette was the sweetest, kindest, most loving, and non-judgmental person. If she had a fault, it was her constant state of confusion when dealing with her smart phone, although, she had become quite proficient with texting. This wonderful woman was known as Mama, Mamaw, Nanaw and Nettie. She was beautiful inside and out, and will be missed forever.

Janette Kyzer McNair raised and is survived by four children( a few of which she continued to raise until her passing) : Janie Pelkey(James), Steven McNair( Cherie’), Cindy Addie(Robert), and Scotty McNair.

She is also survived by a brother, Leon Kyzer, and sisters Judy Herron and Vicky Beard.

A special thanks to LR Baptist Hospital, CARTI Arkansas, and all of her wonderful doctors and nurses that provided exceptional care.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Scott UPC Building Fund or CARTI.com
