James Van Cleave

James Beatty Van Cleave, 74, of Sherwood, passed away December 22, 2018.  He was born September 22, 1944 in Peoria, IL to the late James and Janice (Parker) Van Cleave. Jim was an avid golfer and fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, Pittsburg Steelers and Pirates. Jim was a past President of the Arkansas Hospitality Association and spent his career in Restaurant Management.

Jim is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marcia Van Cleave; three children, Jenny Bloebaum (Chris) of Flower Mound, TX, Jon Van Cleave (Tammi) of Maumelle, Cristin Crawford (Eric) of Springdale; five grandchildren, Andrew Bloebaum, Julie Bloebaum, Jeffrey Van Cleave (Anna), Cullen Pledger, Chase Pledger; and sister, Judy Gahide (Paul) of Phoenix, AZ.  He is preceded in death by sons Jeff Van Cleave and Jared Van Cleave.

A Memorial Visitation Tribute will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home Reception Hall.
