James Stanley

James “Shorty” Stanley, of North Little Rock died Saturday, October 3, 2020.  He was born December 21, 1930 to Rufus and Flossie Goodman Stanley.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty Stanley; daughter, Belva Hammer (Gary); daughter-in-law: Mada Holt Stanley; grandchildren, Bryan Hammer (Karissa), Adam Stanley, Ashley Block (Shaun) and Jonathan Stanley; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Lori, Catherine, William, Sidney and Owen; cousin, Frankie Pratt; and special sister-in-law, Audrey Boyles. He was preceded in death by his parents; son William Dale Stanley and brother, Carl Stanley

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home.  Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene .  Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.  Pallbearers will be Shaun Block, Bryan Hammer, Adam Stanley, Jon Stanley, James Woodell and Paul May.
