James Combs

James Harland Combs, 72, of North Little Rock passed from this life on July 5, 2021. He was born January 16, 1949, in England, Arkansas, the youngest child of the late Joe Harland and Zady Bell Combs. Mr. Combs was a proud veteran, having served in the United States Air Force. He was of the Christian faith, spending several years pastoring a small non-denominational congregation. In addition to his parents, sisters, Minnie Andrews, Louise Thompson, Betty Poppy and Helen Waldo preceded James in death.

Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Rebecca Corbell Combs; children, Brenton Wayne Combs (Crystal) of North Little Rock and Kelli Combs also of North Little Rock. Other survivors include grandchildren, Jules, and Savannah, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A gathering of remembrance will be Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home from 10:00am until 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Combs memory may be made to CARTI online at https://carti.ejoinme.org/donate or via mail at P.O. Box 55011, Little Rock, AR 72215
