Jaclyn “Jackie” Cherie Thomas-Penix passed away December 6, 2020 at the age of 43 in Malvern, Arkansas. She was born to Sherry and Jackson Thomas of Little Rock on May 16, 1977.
Jackie had a big heart. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She loved Pioneer Woman and anything Pumpkin spice.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jackson Thomas; her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Jean Thomas-Stripling; grandfather Marlion Stripling; and paternal grandparents, William and Rema Thomas.
Jackie leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of eight years, Matthew Penix of Malvern, Arkansas; son, Paden Thomas of Malvern; daughter, Shelby Williams of East End; mother, Sherry Thomas of East End; and sister, Kelly Howey (James) of Benton. She was “Gigi” to her great-nephew, Kolar Hostetler of Benton; and her fur baby, Jax. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, lots of cousins and friends.
Jackie requested for everyone to wear bright pink to her services.
Visitation held from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, December 12, with Memorial service following at 2:00 PM at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church, 928 Traskwood Road, Malvern, Arkansas 72104. COVID-19 Directives: masks required and social distancing maintained.
