Huey Lee Thomas

Huey Lee Thomas, 85, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away April 24, 2020. Huey was born in Forrest City on December 3, 1934 to the late Herman and Bertha (Long) Thomas. On September 28, 1957, he married a beautiful French girl from Metz, Suzette Ladenburger, whom he adored until the end of his days; they were married for 62 years. Huey served in the Air Force for over twenty years stationed in West Berlin, Germany, France, Japan, and Spain. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for the City of Little Rock for 20 years.   He loved being with his family more than anything else. He was a loving husband, father, and brother.
Huey is survived by his wife, Suzette Thomas; children, Suzanne (Ray) Kellar and Duwaine (Stacey Lynn) Thomas; six grandchildren, Christopher Ray Kellar, Patrick Thomas Kellar, Sarah Elizabeth Thomas, Danielle Suzanne Thomas, Brevin Lee Thomas, and Jacquelyn Michelle Thomas; seven great-grandchildren, Maiya Kellar, Derek Kellar, Sylvie Kellar, Madeleine Kellar, Warren Roth, Christian Manning and Julian Manning, and his brother, Benjamin Thomas.

A private family funeral service will be held with burial following at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery.
