Horace Weatherly

Horace E. "Tooter" Weatherly, 83, of Beebe, Arkansas died Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was a retired farmer, carpenter and cabinet maker. He was a member of Baugh Chapel Baptist Church. Horace loved playing the banjo and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Lorene Weatherly of Beebe; one son, Gary Alan Weatherly of Beebe; two daughters, Debbie (Bill) Wright of Vilonia and Angela Rogers of Austin; eight grandchildren, Erin Wright, Eric Wright, Amanda Conard, Kelly Molinaro, Dustin Weatherly, Rebecca Weatherly, Sarah Beadle, Samantha Weatherly; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, J. R. Weatherly of St. Vincent, Truman Weatherly of Des Arc; four sisters, Nola Rees of Austin, Bernell Wilson of Vilonia, Ruthie Burlison of Austin, and Sandra Weatherly of Austin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mattie Weatherly; two sons, Johnny and Jimmy Weatherly; one daughter, Linda Oliver; four brothers; one sister; and one great-grandson, Mason Wright.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Baugh Chapel Baptist Church, with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery.
