Harold Stricker

Harold Melvin Stricker, age 87, of Searcy, AR, passed away on June 2, 2016 at Searcy Healthcare. He was born on March 9, 1929 in Marked Tree, AR. He was the son of Luther Stricker and Helen Malone Stricker. Harold was a carpenter by trade for many years. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Helen Stricker, two of his brothers, Luther Stricker, JR. and Richard Stricker, a sister, Emogene Lemons, and a son, Harold Wayne Stricker. Survivors include a brother, Ovid Ray Stricker, two daughters, Bonnie Lorraine Stricker Young "Susie" and Kristine Stricker Chu, a son, Scott Stricker, a nephew Daniel Ray Stricker, a niece Lacretia Lemons and seven grandchildren. At his request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
