Frances Kirk

Our beloved mother Frances Lavelle (Lay) Kirk, 85, of Beebe, Arkansas gained her angel wings Saturday May 30, 2020.  She was born September 6, 1934 in Vilonia, Arkansas to R C and Ernest Bostic.  She was a retired seamstress and an active member of Charity Baptist Church in Ward. Frances loved her community and was always helpful in any way she could.  She was a friend to all.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jessie R. Lay, her second husband Thomas E. Kirk and her sister Bonnie Buntjer.

She is survived by three children, Patricia (Dale) Bass, James (Dawn) Lay and Pam (Jerry) Gooch, all of Beebe; six grandchildren, Jeffery (Candi) Bass, Derick Gooch, Jessica (Michael) Haynes, Katie Woodall, James Lay, and Matthew (Ashley) Lay; seven great grandchildren, Aaron Gooch, Lilliann Lay, Macy Haynes, Casen Bass, Jaylen Woodall, Carlee Bass and Brylee Ahillen-Gooch; two brothers, Dale (Nell) Bostic and Bud (Shannon) Bostic; and four sisters; Ernestine Virgin, Carol Matthews, Sandra (Johnny) Brady, and Kathleen (Michael) Mize.

Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, followed by funeral service at 2:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  State of Arkansas COVID-19 directives:  Face coverings required at all times, 50 attendees or less.  Maintain social distancing.  No hugs or handshakes please.
