Esther Mitchell

Esther Marie Dendy Mitchell, 94, of Malvern passed from this life on November 20, 2020. She was born July 10, 1926 in Ada, Oklahoma to the late Lafayette and Lizzie West Dendy. Mrs. Mitchell retired as a Department Store Manager with the Dillards Corporation after thirty-five years of service. She also served as Chairman of the Board of the Glass Collectors Show. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Mitchell Sr., and two sisters.

Survivors include her children, Bob Mitchell and wife Teresa of Glenrose, Anita Mitchell of Austin Texas and Kay Mitchell of Houston, Texas. Other survivors include a sister, Ruth West of Dumas, Texas, six grandchildren and a host of great and great great grandchildren.

Gravesides services will be 12:00p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
