Dixie Harrell, age 74, of Beebe, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. She was retired from the state of Arkansas after 38 years of service. For many years she played the piano at the Beebe First Christian Church. She is survived by her four children, Jim "Redd" & Brandi Hutsell of Sherwood, Lorrie & Cleo Sterling of Garner, Joe Hutsell of Cabot, and Amy Harrell of Little Rock; two sisters, Geraldine Fields of North Little Rock, Betty Winbarg of New York City; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Bessie Simpson; her granddaughter, Kayla Winkler; and six brothers & sisters.
Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2015, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, a certified Veterans Care provider.
