Diana Barnes

Diana Weller Barnes age 57, of Arkadelphia, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Little Rock.

She was born March 20, 1963 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Diana was a member of Fellowship Church of Arkadelphia.  She worked with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department as office manager for Sheriff Jason Watson.  Diana’s passion was her love for Jesus and family.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dougie Weller.

Survivors are her husband of twenty-eight years, Derrick Barnes; her children, Brandy Hammock, James (Tammy) Barnes, Chris (Holly) Barnes, Corey (Lynsie) Barnes, Samara Hammock and Bennett Hammock; her grandchildren, Kasey, Colton, Samuel, David, Kayleigh, Sarah, Jennifer, Kynlie and Kaylyn; her parents, Doug, and Cherie Weller and one sister, Debbie (Jon) Carlisle.

Visitation will be 2:00 until 6:00 PM Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM.

Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 4, 2021 at Third Street Baptist Church in Arkadelphia with Bro. Scott Jackson officiating. Burial will Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Barnes Family Cemetery near Paige, Texas.
