Denny Richardson Bellingrath passed away peacefully on July 27, 2021 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.  Denny was born October 6, 1935 in Little Rock to Edwin Joseph and Ethel Daniel Richardson. She grew up in Warren and Pine Bluff, Arkansas, graduated from Pine Bluff High School and attended Sullins College in Virginia. Denny married Leonard F. Bellingrath in June 1956 and they resided in Pine Bluff and Little Rock.

Denny was an active mother, volunteer, gardener and traveler. She was proud of her children’s achievements and endeavors. She was active in the Little Rock Garden Club serving as President, serving on the Board of Regents for the Garden Clubs of America and received the Creative Leadership Award from the LRGC. Denny was also a member of Scattered Seeds Garden Club, Junior League of Little Rock, the “Bridge Club,” Second Presbyterian Church and many other organizations. She enjoyed traveling and learning about people and culture.

Denny is survived by her brother, Dr. Gary C. Richardson of North Little Rock; four children, Len Jr. (Patricia) of Knoxville, TN, Scott (Nancy) of Edwards, CO, Edward of Austin, TX and Catherine (Pascal) Weiss of Andernos-les-Bains, France; and nine grandchildren, Will, Mac, Jay, Adam, Anne, Ginger and Jack Bellingrath and Joshua and Toby Weiss.

The funeral service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock at 11 AM on Monday, August 2nd. A graveside service will follow at 3 PM at Graceland Cemetery in Pine Bluff.
