David Joshlin

David W. “Big Josh” Joshlin, 64, of Sherwood passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born December 10, 1955 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Roscoe and Mildred Joshlin.

He proudly served in the United States Navy for twelve years.  He was a printer press operator for over thirty years.  Josh was always a jokester and had a great sense of humor.  He loved his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

David is survived by his sisters, Brenda Joshlin and Rhetta Cervantes; stepbrother, William “Buddy” E. Kniep Jr.; stepchildren, Brian Sherrill (Jeanna), Jason and Aaron Torres; step-grandchildren, Jaron, Devin and Sam Sherrill; godson, Charlie Anderson (Ashlie); granddaughter, Gracie Mae Anderson; and his niece, Dawn Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ann Joshlin; sister, Aneta Irene Williams; and his nephew, Kelly Phelps.

A visitation will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2020, followed by funeral service with military honors at 11:30 a.m., at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
