David Bowden

David Owen Bowden, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed away September 6, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born December 28, 1951 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Barney Owen and Mildred (Jacks) Bowden.
David was a man of many talents. He was a practicing attorney in his law firm- Bowden Law Firm; licensed respiratory therapist; licensed, ordained minister of the gospel; talented musician-playing both organ and piano; gifted, trained baritone voice; and was knowledgeable on many subjects-a "walking encyclopedia". David was the most giving man. If you had a need, he was willing to help take care of it. As an attorney, he would often take cases for families without being paid. He always gave, never expecting anything in return. Everyone who knew him had great admiration and respect for him. David was a member of Family Church in Bryant. He loved fish, and "sleep in the deer stand". His greatest pleasure was found in spending time with his children and grandchildren. David would strive to find a common interest with each child and grandchild and would spend one on one time with them sharing experiences centered on that interest.
Preceding David in death are his parents; granddaughter, Brandilynn Bowden; and grandson, Robert James Teague.
David leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 43 years, Sybill (Squires) Bowden, of Little Rock, Arkansas; children, Michael Bowden and wife Liz of East End, Arkansas, William Bowden of East End, Arkansas, and Becky Teague and husband Bobby of Benton, Arkansas; grandchildren, James Barnett, Peyton Bowden, Andrew Bowden, Autumn Bowden, Samantha Teague, and Jimmy Teague; and many other family members and friends who loved David and will miss him always.
