Dale Edward Shook, 82, of Little Rock, passed away May 4, 2021 with his family at his side. Born in Arkansas to Otis and Ida Mae Gentry Shook, he was a master plumber by trade. He worked on some of the larges plumbing projects in the state and across the country, including the water pump system for our drinking water out of Lake Maumelle and what is now the Simmons Tower. He was the pioneer of automatic lawn sprinkler systems in Arkansas. Dale was an avid Razorback fan.
Preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 59 years Mary Shook, his sister Iris Ebson, and brother, Richard Shook, he is survived by sons, Kevin Shook and Matthew Shook (Jennifer), both of Little Rock, and Wesley Shook (Laura) of Bryant; daughter, Pamela Weinberger of Little Rock; brother, Jerry Shook and sisters Connie Alessi, Debby Borkowski, and Janet Chapman; and grandchildren, Justin Webb, Amanda Heard, Brittney Weinberger, Ciara Shook, Jordan Shook, Chloe Shook, Aubrey Shook, Addelyn Shook and Wesley Paul Shook; and other family and friends.
A day of remembrance for family and friends will be held at Dale's House on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.
