Christopher Barlow

It is with great sadness that the family of Christopher Ryan Barlow announces his passing at the age of 43. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his parents Larry and Louise Barlow; his children; Trinten and Kaleigh Barlow; and his sister Kim Gates.

Chris was born in Oklahoma on December 7, 1977. He moved with his family to Arkansas during grade school. After high school Chris started his career. He was an accomplished painter ranging from industrial to residential structures to equipment. His 20 plus-year career often took him across the country working on projects. He was proud of his work and always worked hard to do a great job. Chris was also a masterful mechanic and could fix nearly anything and never hesitated to lend a hand to friends and family. When he wasn't working he loved to hunt, fish, cook, and watch the Razorbacks.

Chris was always ready to lend a hand. He made time to serve the homeless, help clean up after natural disasters, and shuttle essential workers during a recent snow storm. Most of all, Chris was a proud father of Trinten and Kaleigh Barlow. He enjoyed watching them play sports, hunting, and fishing together.

A funeral service will be held at Smith Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 Hwy 107) Saturday June 26. Visitation will be at 1pm and the service at 2pm. Pastor John Barber will officiate.
