Charlene (Hall) Small, 83, of North Little Rock died January 28, 2021. She was born October 6, 1937 to the late Charles D. and Minnie Pearl (Treadway) Hall at New DeRoche, Arkansas. Also preceded in death are her sisters: Lovie Hughes, Katherine Rhodes, Adell Hughes and Lula Mae Huggins.

Charlene married Eugene Small on May 26, 1956 at Prairie Bayou Church of Christ, New DeRoche, Hot Spring County, Arkansas.

She graduated from Bismarck high School (1956) and attended Arkansas Tech University at Russellville, Arkansas (1956/1957). She was licensed in Real Estate Sales in the state of Arkansas. She traveled extensively with her husband.

She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and a member of the Bob Millett Sunday School Class.

Charlene is survived by her husband, Eugene Small; one daughter, Diana (Brian) Persing of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sons, Stanley (Kelli) and Warren Small of North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Four granddaughters: Danielle (Ryan) Creswell, Samantha (Kevin) Carter, Lauren (Caleb) Jennings and Hannah Persing.

Six great-grandchildren: Emmy, Ellie and Stone Creswell, June, Henry and Espie Carter.

One sister, Lovell White of New DeRoche, and one brother, Carl Dean Hall of Paris, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to the Bob Millett Sunday School Class at Lakewood United Methodist Church , 1922 Topf Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72116.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Monday, February 1, 2021 at Prairie Bayou Cemetery located at Highways 84 and 128 in Hot Springs County.
