Carveta Armstrong, 81 of Sherwood, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 in Beebe, Arkansas. She was born on August 25, 1930 in Pulaski County, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Doyle Webb and Gladys Jones-Webb.
Carveta was a homemaker, who loved growing roses in her garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert "Buddy" Armstrong, her parents and her brother Voyne Webb and sister Aileen Allen.
Survivors include her son Gary Armstrong of El Paso, Arkansas; daughter Pam Armstrong and husband William Payton of Denver, Colorado; sister Sybil Williams, grandchildren Troy Curtis, Lewis Curtis, Kerri Ann Armstrong- Payton, Samantha Armstrong-Payton, Stephanie Armstrong-Payton, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood, burial will follow at Beebe Cemetery in Beebe, Arkansas.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
