Carolyn Reese

Carolyn Reese, 76, of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on March 23, 2020. She was born on January 18, 1944 to Jesse and Amanda Venable in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She loved to play shuffleboard at the VFW and going to the horse and dog races.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Jerry Herring; granddaughter, Brandy Michelle Fortner; siblings, Joyce Scott, Betty Smithwick, Ray Venable, George “Cotton” Venable and Pete Venable.

Carolyn is survived by her children, Jarrell Herring, Janette Worthey, Gayla Baily, Sonya Burson, Tonya Hodnett Seager, Shawn Wilson and Shannon Wilson; siblings, Debbie Holdcraft, Sandy Victory, Billy Venable, Michael Venable, and Tommy Venable; numerous grandchildren; and she is also survived by many other family, friends and loved ones.

There will be an open visitation from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street. A private service was held and can be viewed on Smith North Little Rock's Facebook page.
