Bruce Ingels

Bruce E. Ingels passed away peacefully on October 28, 2020. He was born May 24, 1924 to Bertha and Elmer Ingels in Monona, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris; his parents; and four brothers and one sister.

After proudly serving in the Army Air Corps in World War II, he attended the University of Iowa and began a lifelong career in sales.

He is best known for his dedication to his family, his outgoing personality, his sense of humor, and his faithfulness to God.

He was a longtime member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. He loved to be in fellowship with the members there. He loved you all. He worked in their food pantry until he was 94 years old!

He is survived by his children, Beverly Kelso (Russ), Jim Ingels (Cathy) and Steve Ingels (Pat); four grandsons, Blake Davis (Susan), Jake Kelson (Lauren), Travis Vowels and Drew Ingels; and four great-grandchildren, Charlie Grace, Keaton, Beckett and Roman. He was so proud of them all.

The family would like to thank Lakewood Health and Rehab for the outstanding care you gave our dad. You loved, laughed, and prayed with him. We are forever grateful.

There will be a private graveside service at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery .
