Bradley William Temple, Sr., age 94, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born January 9, 1927 in Johnsville, Arkansas to David Franklin and Maud Belle Orr Temple.
At the age of 18 he joined the Army as a Paratrooper. After four years he joined the Air Force where he retired after 20 years of service at the rank of Tech Sargent. After his military career he was employed by AP&L (Entergy) for ten years as a Meter Reader. He and his wife then owned and operated The Grog Shop for 15 years. At that time he went into farming and traveling around the country with his wife in their Airstream. He loved roping horses, the Dallas Cowboys and the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Bradley is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Otha, Purman and Lamar, two sisters, Maxine Temple Jones and Christine Temple Taylor, one granddaughter Jennifer Temple and one daughter-in-law Jeanna Temple.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife and soulmate of 72 years, Edna M. Temple, three sons, David (Phyllis), Brad, Jr. (Tracy) and Barry Temple, two grandsons Brandon (Rachel) and Ty Temple, four great-grandchildren Mason, Easton, Vaida and Prescott Temple, one brother Van (Annette) Temple.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project .
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery .
