Billy McCroskey

Billy Gene McCroskey, 90, of Ward went to be with the Lord, March 29, 2019.  He was born to George and Esther McCroskey on January 23, 1929 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

He was a retired carpenter, dairy and beef farmer.  In his younger years he rode horses and Harleys.  As time passed he loved to fly his Luscomb airplane, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Bill loved the Lord, and loved to tell folks how they could put their trust in Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Walter and Hank McCroskey, and a sister Myrtle Rowland of Little Rock.

Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years, Saletha Janette McCroskey, three special sons; Danny, Larry, and Dennis all of Ward, grandson Thurman McCroskey (Anjie), step-grandchild Tiffany Tyree and family, four great grandchildren; Brice McCroskey (Kasey), Brandon McCroskey, Jordyn McCroskey, and Anthony Roberts one great-great-grandson, Brody, as well as several nieces and nephews.
