Mrs. Singley was born Betty Lou Krenning on February 2, 1932, in Worland, Colorado to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Krenning. Mrs. Singley was raised on the family’s ranch outside of Cody with her 18 siblings, where she developed a life-long passion for gardening. Mrs. Singley spent 25 years managing food-service operations for both the Pulaski County School System and the Baptist Health System. In retirement, Mrs. Singley enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, and reading at Harris Brake Lake near Perryville, AR, before returning to Little Rock after Mr. Singley passed away. Mrs. Singley volunteered for many years at Perryville Public Library and the Head Start Program where she read to young children.

Those who knew Mrs. Singley note that she was a passionate gardener, culinary expert, and voracious reader. Mrs. Singley deeply loved her family and friends, and will be remembered for her compassionate nature, joyful personality, sense of humor, and quick wit.

Mrs. Singley was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Amelia “Millie” Krenning, husband Bill Singley, daughter Carol Muncy, son-in-law Mark Guffin, and great-grandson Jordan Broderick.
