Betty Hogue

Betty J. Hogue passed away from this life into the next on Thursday, January 7, 2021. Born June 27, 1935, she was 85 years old.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Brewczynski (Peggy) and Alan Brewczynski (Susan) both of North Little Rock; daughters, Gina Henry and Sara Henry (Ben) both of North Little Rock; her siblings, Pat Poe, of North Little Rock, Ann Hamilton (Ed) of Cabot, Dick Robertson (Judy) of Beebe, Kay Harris (Pat) of Little Rock, Fay Dobbins (Lex) of Bryant and Mike Robertson (Sandy) of Nashville. Preceding her in death are her parents, Herman and Lorene Robertson; sister, Lucy Meredith; grandson, Jake Henry, her late husband and friend, Donald J. Hogue and a sister, Wilma (Kid) Owen, who was a constant companion.

She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and so many friends.

Betty can be described using three words…Faith, Family and Love. She based her life and how she lived it with those words as a foundation. She and her husband Don, were faithful attendees of the Oak Grove Church of Christ, where they rarely missed a service. It was simply a joy for her.

Her family was what she lived for. Having a room full of family and home cooked meals made her smile. The laughter of children and just being with us was satisfying. Her love was for us all, she gave it freely and was felt by those who had the opportunity to receive it. She will leave a space in our hearts with her absence, but we rejoice in her freedom.

Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Berry, Fred Rogers, Dennis Ruple, Josh Henry, Roy Sanders, Greg Hogan and Tim Duggar.
