Betty Goodson
Betty Jean Crow Goodson, age 79 of Little Rock, (formerly of Damascus), passed away May 19, 2016. She was born December 23, 1936 in Little Rock, Arkansas; and she was the daughter of Ira and Virgie Crow.
Betty was a retired Little Rock School District Cafeteria Manager, as well as the co-owner of the Goodson Strawberry Farm that she operated with her husband. She was a volunteer at Care Caps and enjoyed gardening, decorating, flower arranging and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of forty years, Brian Goodson; a child, John Paul Goodson; and her brother Roy Crow.
Survivors include her children James Goodson (Donna), Albert Goodson (Charla), and Tressie Akridge (Ray); four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Little Rock.
Visitation will be held after the Graveside Service until 1:30 p.m., at Mary Musgrove's Home on Hwy 10.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Care Cap Connections 103 Tanglewood Circle, Fairfield Bay,Arkansas 72088-4501.
